About Me
I decided I wanted to write humour when I was eight years old. In the (too many) intervening years, I have written a lot of it for a variety of media, including film and television (mostly unproduced), radio sketch comedy (obscure) and prose. Over the past decade or so I have increasingly combined humour with speculative fiction.
My main project in this regard is the Alternate Reality News Service. They send reporters into other dimensions and have them write articles about what they find there. The series of self-publisher collections of news, review, interviews and columns has been described by a coupe of readers as "a science fiction version of The Onion."
I have also had two novels published by Britain's Elsewhen Press. They feature agents of the Transdimensional Authority, the organization which monitors and polices travel between dimensions. If you're somewhere you don't belong doing things you shouldn't be doing, they will track you down, stop you and send you back to where you belong.
I have a Web site where I publish new humour on a weekly basis. It is called Les Pages aux Folles. I've been doing it since 2002, and, dammit, I'm going to keep doing it until I get it write!
